BiodivERsA works on programme to promote syntheses and meta-analyses
The BiodivERsA network has decided to implement a new programme alignment activity, aiming to increase synergies amongst national research programmes, to trigger cost-efficiencies in research financing and to enhance the scientific performance and research impact.
The new alignment activity will take the form of a new BiodivERsA programme to promote syntheses and meta-analyses, i.e. promoting better re-use of existing data. It is intended that this programme will build on a collaboration between BiodivERsA and synthesis/meta-analysis centres, with the objective to launch a call. This should contribute to improving the (re)use of existing data and facilitating their synthesis, through the use of adequate infrastructures and methods offered by these centres.
