ARIMNET2 has launched call for young researchers 2017
ARIMNet2 has launched the ARIMNET2 Call for young researchers 2017. In the call guidelines young researchers are described as persons who have obtained their PhD (or equivalent) within the last 10 years (for exceptions: see call guidelines on ARIMNet2 website)
The aim of this call is to reinforce the capacities of young scientists around the Mediterranean Area and to prepare the new generation of young research talents to become leaders and pioneers in their research area. Through this call, the ARIMNet2 consortium supports integrated and trans-disciplinary research projects aimed at producing innovations for enhancing the contribution of agricultural and food systems to sustainable social and economic development. The call will cover two topics:
- Promoting sustainable agriculture for socio-economic development
- Valorising local products through food value chains improvement
The call is funded by national funds of the Mediterranean countries participating in the ARIMNet2 project. The 2017 call is based on a virtual common pot of around 5.4 million Euros with the aim to fund projects involving several partners from different countries.
The closing date for submission of proposals is 14 September 2017.
